Motorola's plan to build a new, Web-based operating system as an alternative to Google's Android will fail. As of today, Motorola cannot a build a credible mobile OS.

News organizations such as magazines, newspapers, etc., will soon launch news services directly "inside" Facebook (as opposed to the separate news websites such as CNN.com and FT.com that exist today). Facebook users will be able to consume personalized news directly inside Facebook.

Within a few years, the proportion of dogs dying from being hit by fast moving cars on roads will reduce, as more dogs with genes that don't prevent such deaths are weeded out. As a result, urban dogs will get more "road friendly".

Smartphones based on Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 operating system will fail to register meaningful sales. As a result, Microsoft, already "flummoxed" by unending sales of rival devices, will lose relevance in the smartphones market.

As it stands today, the OlivePad V-T100 will not experience good sales in India. It's too pricey for the Indian buyer, more so as the Olive brand is virtually unknown here (of course, that doesn't mean that it ain't a good product).

Despite the high-value "package" it provides (engine capacity, features, etc.), the Maruti Suzuki Kizashi, as it stands today, will be at worst a failure and at best a moderate seller in India. The moderate-to-good sales that the SX4-resembling sedan will experience initially will fade.

Google will soon be forced to implement a system in YouTube similar to the algorithmic changes recently implemented in Google Search, to remove from video search results the growing number of poor-quality videos.
